Myrtle Agatha Lindsay-Crossfield was born on October 25, 1926 to the late Urmiston Lindsay, Leticia Wint and her stepfather Walter Wint in Clarendon, Jamaica.

Myrtle was educated in the Jamaican private and technical school system.
Myrtle later migrated to the United States in 1968. She attended the James Martin School of Nursing, where she obtained her nursing certificate. She worked at several facilities but her favorite ones were Albert Einstein hospital and Sacred Heart Manor where she worked until retirement.

Myrtle was otherwise known as Mom, Aunt Sis or Grand-mom. She was a very selfless woman. She worked very hard to provide better lives for her children and grandchildren. Her jovial spirit welcomed all into her life, heart, and her home. She cared for all those in need by clothing and feeding them. Her family was very special to her and always did everything to make them happy.

Her mission statement was her favorite Bible verse; "Make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose". Philippians 2:2
Her favorite words were "Peace and Love" which she said at the end of every conversation

Myrtle is survived by her children:
Cecil, Clarence, Jacqueline, James, Antonio, Patricia, Merilda.

Ruth, Lorna and Barbara

Brother:
Gladwyn

Seventeen Grandchildren, Thirteen Grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
