Judith S. Gotwols, 76, died peacefully after a brief illness surrounded by her family on Sunday, May 14, 2017 in Leesburg, Florida.

Judy was born on March 23, 1941 in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of Dr. John T. and Mrs. Rheta Schofield. Judy was a longtime resident of Ocean City and Egg Harbor Township NJ, before retiring to Leesburg, FL in 2003. Judy will be dearly missed and is survived by her loving husband Bruce E. Judith S. Gotwols, 76, died peacefully after a brief illness surrounded by her family on Sunday, May 14, 2017 in Leesburg, Florida.

Judy was born on March 23, 1941 in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of Dr. John T. and Mrs. Rheta Schofield. Judy was a longtime resident of Ocean City and Egg Harbor Township NJ, before retiring to Leesburg, FL in 2003. Judy will be dearly missed and is survived by her loving husband Bruce E. Gotwols; children: Beth Palermo; Cliff Gotwols (Tiffany); Karyn Lamb (Christopher); Judy Mayer-Landis;Wendy Neiburg (Michael); Ryan Gotwols (Christine); Monica Gotwols; 16 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Judy is pre-deceased by her parents, son Bruce E. Gotwols, Jr., and granddaughter Leann.

Judy was a 1958 graduate of Lower Moreland High School and a 1961 graduate of Manor Junior College. She was a Medical Secretary for 25 years in Margate, NJ.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Judy loved her family above all else and leaves many loving memories with them. Family and friends were her passion and delight. All whom loved her will miss her charm and undying love. She was always the life of the party and loved entertaining and playing cards. She was a terrific cook, a skill she learned from her mother and happily passed on to her children.

Services will be held on Friday, May 19, 2017 at the Lamb Funeral Home 101 Byberry Road Huntingdon Valley PA, 19006. Visitation will be from 10-11am, and a service will follow at 11am. Burial 12:15pm at Forest Hills Cemetery 25 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley PA, 19006.
