Obituary

Today I lay my beloved brother, Andrew Genstein, to rest. Andy was a very talented songwriter and musician and had a very loving heart, helping women, children and animals in need. He loved music, animals, bagels and lox and beer.

When we were children, he taught me about love and respect for animals, bringing home different species of injured and lost animals for our mother to heal, and throughout the years, he provided a loving home to homeless cats and senior dogs. Andy always enjoyed the companionship of wildlife and birds and their beautiful songs as he fed them each day.

Prayers will be said by Rabbi Scott Borsky today for family members and close friends for both my brother Andy and my beloved, respected father, Irvin Genstein, April 19, 1937 - March 6, 2015, whom we love dearly and miss every day.

Join us for bagels and lox at Ben and Irv's Deli, what Andy always wanted, everyone to get together, eat and enjoy!
